このページでは、真栄田岬で干潮時に見ることのできるタイドプール*(沖縄の方言で「イノー」)や、小さな青の洞窟の画像をご覧いただけます。

*タイドプールとは、岩礁海岸や干潟の潮間帯において、干潮時に岩や砂泥底などの底質のくぼみに海水が取り残されてたまったもの。潮だまりとも呼ばれる。

Kayak Tour of YAKENA Straits and Uninhabited Island

First Tour to be shown to Public.

You are passing through beautiful Yakena Straits known as “East Loreley” to get the cape Yabuchi island which people had lived since the JOMON period(6,000 years ago) till the EDO period and now it is uninhabited.

Beside most tourists tend to go to the west of the main island, there are many unpublicized beautiful places in the East. This tour is first to be shown to the public. Nearby KAICHU DORO, the bridge between the island and small islands. An hour drive from Naha airport using highway.

There are many wild birds and you can hear their singings. Scenary and the sound has never changed since JOMON period. You feel like you’ve gone back in time.

The color of water is very mysterious and it changes.

You paddle from A point passing the straits and get to the point of B along the beauticul coast line of the uninhabited island.

Plan A  Kayaking the Straits

• 2 hours
• Instruction will be given how to paddle kayak and pass the straits getting to the point and come back
• Fee 5,000JPN Yen per person. If two adults, then one minor child is free*
• Fee 5,000JPN Yen per person. If two adults, then one minor child is free*

Plan B   Kayaking with Lunch on the top of the point

• 3 hours
• After you paddle to get to the point of the island, Instructor leads you to go up to the point of the island and you will have a lunch* there.
• Fee 5,000JPN Yen per person. If two adults, then one minor child is free*
• *Lunch is provided by yourself in advance.
• Fee 5,000JPN Yen per person. If two adults, then one minor child is free*

Plan C  Kayaking and Trekking the Island with Lunch

• 4 hours
• Adding to plan B, you will enjoy the trekking the island.
• Fee 6,000JPN Yen per person. If two adults, then one minor child is free*
